“I first began work as a Transport Ambassador for PeopleMax during the Rugby World Cup. In addition to wanting to earn a little extra income, I was keen to take part in one of the biggest sporting events to take place in New Zealand. The rewards were much greater than I expected. I experienced the simple pleasure of assisting people who were feeling unsure of how to get somewhere, of using the information available to me as an ambassador to solve straightforward problems that often seemed a little daunting for both local residents and visitors alike.
