The Trade & Exchange Beach Dig was the perfect opportunity to showcase PeopleMax®’s diversity. For a start, the PeopleMax® Management Team was responsible for organising the event, from permit applications, hiring equipment, organising the MC, to planning how the day would run. Before the day PeopleMax® also communicated with the local businesses about what would be happening, answer any of their questions and hear any concerns.
On the day itself PeopleMax® was everywhere. From burying tokens and assembling equipment, to face painting, sausage sizzling, balloon inflating, prize giving, and more. Hundreds of people attended the event, with loads of prizes given out. The day raised almost $700 for the Child Cancer Foundation, and raised awareness for the cause during Child Cancer week.
The Beach Dig took place on the 25th of March at Mission Bay and celebrated Trade & Exchange’s 25th Birthday. The day started at 10am, but PeopleMax® workers were onsite from 7am setting everything up. The first beach dig was at 11am, and second at 12pm. Throughout the day there was also a sand castle contest, face painting, and a sausage sizzle – with the gold coin donation for each activity going to the Child Cancer Foundation.
